To dwell is the one thing we all have in common - we all need a place to live. In Norway we have long been priveliged with the space - and money - to provide almost anyone who wants it their own house with a garden.
Today growing cities put a strain on the infrastructure, and a densification of our built environment is by planners and politicians seen as a requirement in order to make a more sustainable society.
But what are the premises for living in the city? How do you build dens for a population with a preference for selfsufficiency and solitude? And how du we ensure a diverse population in sentral areas with increasing amounts of small livingunits ?
